Rabbi Ron Li-Paz
Rabbi Ron Li-Paz has been teaching, speaking and singing before audiences of thousands of people for nearly three decades. He is the spiritual leader of Valley Outreach Synagogue, a large liberal Jewish community in Calabasas, California. He is the Vice President of the Center for Interreligious Understanding, collaborating with world political and religious leaders in efforts toward achieving greater peace. He has been an honored guest of Pope Francis as well as His All Holiness the Patriarch Bartholomew.
Prior to synagogue leadership, Rabbi Ron served in the United States Air Force. He subsequently completed a degree at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London before working in theater, television, film, and broadcasting. Rabbi Ron went on to serve as a management consultant for Cap-Gemini developing and implementing communications strategies for multinational clients across Europe.
Rabbi Ron enjoyed a decade as a leading guest artist in opera and concerts in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, and the United States. In 2011, he was invited to sing before President Obama and members of the United States Congress.
Today, in addition to spiritual leadership and hosting The Meaning Mindset podcast, Rabbi Ron speaks with business and community leaders on issues of exemplary leadership. In 2023-24, he spoke to Harvard University students (Music & the Mind) and in past years he has spoken and taught for UCLA-Anderson School of Business, the UCLA Management Development Institute in East Africa, Citadel Environmental, Belmond Hotels and individual business leaders. He is a frequent guest on Sunday Morning Newsmakers (KRLA radio).
Rabbi Ron finds tranquility and awe in music, beekeeping and in the undersea world of scuba diving.
